The Study on the present status of the Infants feeding


Abstract
The Survey was performed on 153 cases of mothers who were visited H hospital Pediatrics out patient & Well baby clinics from Dec. I to Dec. 30 of 1985.
The research analyzed according to the Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation and a Pearson Correlation.
The results of this study were as follows
1. The average month of infants was 12.11m. & average of infants body weight was 9. 40kg. Among the methods of feeding; "Breast feeding" was 35. 3%, "Milk feeding", 30.0 & "Mixed feeding", 34.4%.
2. There are related the education level of mothers to the duration of the breast feeding (**p=0.000), the feeding method of the postpartum (*p=0.004), the course of the no breastt feeding (*p=0, 002), the method of the breast feeding in the hospital postpartum(**p = 0.000), the course of the milk feeding in the hospital (*p=O..009).
3. There is related the income of month to the duration of the breast feeding(**p=0.000).
4. There is related the delivery place to the feeding method (of the postpartum(in the hospital (**p = 0. 000) .
5. There are related the delivery methods to the reason of the milk feeding (**p = 0. 000) , the reson of the milk feeding in the hospital (*p=0.008) .
6. There are related the frequency of the antenatal care to the duration of the breast feeding (*p = 0. 009), the feeding method of the postpartum (*p=0.002), the course of the no breast feeding(*p=0.010), the method of the breast feeding in the hospital (*p=0.010).
7. There are related the marriage age to the duration of the milk feeding (*p=0.003) , the feeding method of the postpartum (**p=0.000), the reason of the no breast feeding (**p=0.001) .
